Although the dogma of the Immaculate Conception was proclaimed in 1854, there is a great blessed man who, almost 600 years earlier, studied and defended this privilege of Our Mother. For this, he received the title of “Doctor of the Immaculate Conception.”

His feast day was yesterday, but today we pray that through his intercession, love for the Virgin Mary may grow ever stronger in the Church.
