Pray today, with pause, this Formula of Surrender from Saint Claude de la Colombière:
“In reparation for so many outrages and such cruel ingratitude, O most adorable and loving Heart of my amiable Jesus, and to avoid, as far as it depends on me, falling into such disgrace, I offer You my heart with all the sentiments of which it is capable; I surrender myself entirely to You. And from this moment I sincerely vow that I desire to forget myself and everything that may have any connection with me, in order to remove the obstacle that could prevent me from entering that divine Heart which You are kind enough to open to me, and into which I long to enter to live and die with Your most faithful servants, wholly penetrated and consumed by Your love.”
